I recently took a trip to Trader Joe’s to see what gluten-free products they have and how easy it is to find them. Going in, I had no plan besides finding the gluten-free cupcakes that I’ve seen other people post about. There is no gluten-free section at Trader’s Joe’s and it made finding the gluten-free products difficult and more time consuming because you have to look through each section.
I didn’t know Trader Joe’s has a gluten-free list on their website (this would have been very helpful in store). Besides cauliflower crust pizza, they did not have any refrigerated or frozen gluten-free labeled items that I could find which was disappointing.
My top 3 gluten-free items at Trader Joe’s are the Gluten-Free Mini Cupcakes, Gluten-Free Cheese Pizza with Cauliflower crust, and the almond beverage.
Trader Joe’s Gluten-Free Almond Beverage
The almond milk is delicious and more affordable than other stores, plus it come in different flavors!
Trader Joe’s Gluten-Free Joe-Joe’s
I was not a fan of the gluten-free joe-joe’s. I would recommend Goodie Girl chocolate creme cookies instead.
Trader Joe’s Gluten-Free Mini Cupcakes
For $3.99, you can’t go wrong with these mini cupcakes. Both icing and cake is incredible and does not taste gluten-free. My friends weren’t able to tell they were gluten-free.
Trader Joe’s Gluten-Free Crispy Crunchy Chocolate Chip Cookies
These cookies remind me of the Enjoy Life Crispy Chocolate Chip cookies, which I would rather eat since those are also dairy-free. These do make a great dunking cookie for coffee. I would not repurchase.
Trader Joe’s Gluten-Free Crispy Crunchy Ginger Chunk Cookies
If you like ginger, this is the cookie for you. With chunks of real ginger inside a ginger cookie, this is a great preamble to gingerbread season. I wouldn’t repurchase though because the ginger chunks were unexpected and added an odd texture to the cookie.
Trader Joe’s Gluten-Free Pretzel Twists
These pretzels tasted stale and were more of a pretzel shell. I would recommend buying Snyder’s Gluten-Free pretzels instead.
